Ministries

Teaching and Instruction- Pine Creek Church believes that the regular careful teaching of and instruction from the Bible is at the heart of every ministry of the church and ought to inform and regulate the life of the church.  Pine Creek Church is committed to the authority of the Word of God and its place as the rule of teaching and living for the church, its families, and its individual members. 

 

Training for Christian Living- CLT is the "Sunday School" program of Pine Creek Church.  There are programs of study for students from pre-school through adult currently, the adult class is going through John Piper's TULIP series.

 

Sunday Morning Worship- This is an opportunity for the whole church to come together for expressing worship through song, fellowship, giving, and engaging the truths of the Bible as they are expounded through teaching.  The exposition of the Bible is critical to the life and ministry of the church and teaching from the Bible is at the center of Sunday mornings at PCC. Nursery for infants and toddlers is provided and Junior Church is available for children age four through third grade during the instruction time.

 

Wednesday Prayer Meeting and Bible Study- There are opportunities for prayer and instruction for all ages during the mid-week meeting.

                                

Youth Group- The PCC youth group meets on Wednesday evenings during the regularly scheduled prayer meeting/Bible study time and includes students in 7th through 12th grades.

 

Mid-Week Elementary Classes- Age graded instruction and activities are provided for children age four through the sixth grade during the mid-week meeting.

 

 

Men's Bible Study- This is a monthly meeting of the men of PCC to study a particular passage of Scripture, a particular doctrine in Scripture, or a theological work which gives instruction in the Scriptures.  Presently, JD Greear's book Gospel is being used for this study which meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 P.M. in the lower level of the church building.

 

Ladies' Bible Study- Ladies' Bible Study Meets monthly at 7 P.M.  This is an opportunity to study the Scriptures together with the ladies of the church with a special emphasis on doctrines and issues which have particular import to women. 

 

Ladies' Prayer Group- Ladies' prayer group is an opportunity for the ladies of PCC to gather for fellowship, but primarily in order to pray for the needs of the church and those associated with it, as well as the needs of the community.  

 

Senior Lunch- This is a gathering of senior citizens for the purpose of fellowship, encouragement and instruction from the Bible and to share a meal prepared and provided by the members of PCC.  The lunch is presently held at noon on the third Thursday of each month in the church fellowship hall on the lower level of the church building.

 

Sunday Fellowship Dinner- PCC has a fellowship meal immediately following the morning services every Sunday.  Observance of the Lord's Table is celebrated each week as part of this meal time.
