Recent Baptism

Jesus commanded that those who believe in and desire to follow Him be baptized.  In baptism, a Believer is saying that they believe the truths that Jesus died for their sin to free them of it's penalty and power, that Jesus was buried to put away their sin, and that on the third day after His death Jesus rose from the dead and won victory over death for those who believe in and follow Him.  This is a public proclamation of belief in Jesus, submission to His loving commands, and a desire to be a part of His people, the Church.
